ALL YOU NEED IS A HOUSEHOLD IRON. __________________________________ HOW TO APPLY IRON ON HOT FIX TRANSFERS Carefully remove the white paper backing. Position the design onto fabric. Set your iron to the proper temperature for the material. Delicate setting for finer fabrics like silk or polyester, higher setting for cotton and denim. Allow iron to heat thoroughly. MAKE SURE STEAM IS OFF. Leave iron on the design for approximately 25-45 seconds. Allow more time for cotton and denim, and less time for finer fabrics. For large designs you may need to move the iron several times to heat all the trims. When applying transfers with large rhinestones, allow extra time due to thickness of crystal. Turn the item inside out and press again from the back. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP IN APPLICATION PROCESS. Allow to cool for approximately 3-5 minutes so that hot glue resets and forms a permanent bond with fabric. Slowly pull off clear Mylar film. If, while removing the Mylar, any of the trims are not firmly attached, carefully reposition the Mylar and repeat the ironing process. Allow the trims to cool and rub your fingers over them. If any trims feel loose, reapply the iron as above.
